Alex was born and raised in Wiltshire, UK. Passionate about wildlife and the environment, he worked on conservation projects in remote areas of Paraguay, Costa Rica and Thailand. Returning to the UK to work as an arborist, he continues to travel to far-flung places when possible.

A fan of all things dark and morally ambiguous, be it in books, movies, tv shows or games, he decided to make his own contribution in the form of Unstoppable Shadow, his debut fantasy novel.
